Over the last few years we have learned which teas sell and which don’t, we adapt our starter kits on a regular basis to reflect the trends on a regular basis. For instance this year we have added a Decaffeinated Breakfast Tea to our range following its popularity at last years Edinburgh International Book Festival.

It seems that decaf is very much in demand, which is good because the range includes five caffeine free blends and 4 blends with caffeine.
Don’t second guess your customers…
We don’t think you should fill your shelves with unpopular teas and assumptions. One of the biggest mistakes that can be made is adding what we think our customers will want to buy based on the supermarket buying trends. For instance Camomile is a popular tea to retail but it turns out most people prefer to drink Camomile before bedtime not during the day, who knew?

We believe a good range shows you aren’t just paying your tea menu lip service and that you care about the drinks offering you make to your customers.

Wee Tea Company were one of the first Tea Companies in the UK to adopt non plastic biodegradable tea bags. All our packaging is biodegradable, you customers will want to know you care about your environment so be sure to let them know. If you really, really care, serve loose leaf tea.
The Big Question…Loose or Tea Bags?
Firstly the quality of tea we put into our tea bags is very much the same as that which we sell you loose.
Loose or bagged comes down to customer experience and the time in which you have to serve your customers.
Loose Leaf is less expensive, offers the best experience, takes longer to brew and needs some specialised brewing equipment.
Tea bags offer convenience, speed, less mess and are really great for takeaway.
THE DECISION IS YOURS. Many of our existing customers opt for both loose and tea bags.

I was so pleased when the box of teas arrived and was very excited to try them! The packaging is gorgeous and the teas smell divine!! I haven't had a chance to try them all but the few I have tried are delicious, so full of flavour! I love that the tea bags are biodegradable too. I am looking forward to sampling them all.
