Description

Gingerbread Tea

Come and experience your Hansel and Gretel Fantasy!

Gingerbread Tea is an enticing and pleasing blend of Rooibos, Spices and Fruit created with Christmas in mind. The rich and warming spices blend perfectly with sweeter vanilla flavours to create our take on a Gingerbread inspired tea. This fruity, spicy Gingerbread flavour Tea is warming and sumptuous. Perfect with a little Gingerbread dunker!

Gingerbread Tea for you and for me!

Gingerbread Tea is one of three flavours of Christmas Teas we have created to really tantalise the festive taste buds. Think of the sweet and spice we all love so much in Gingerbread, and that is exactly what we have attempted to blend in this Gingerbread Tea. The base tea is Rooibos, which offers a deep, woody flavour, and really sets up the blend for the spices and flavouring. The chunks of apple offer the sweetness from the fruit, and of course the dried ginger offers the warming spice.

The tea is then expertly flavoured with Gingerbread and Vanilla to try and recreate all the warmth and sweetness you could expect from Gingerbread. Of course one of the real benefits of this tea is that it comes with no sugar or candied ingredients…so guilt free! Rooibos is also caffeine free, so further good reasons to enjoy it! We would recommend a tiny drop of milk and either a little sugar or honey added to your Gingerbread Tea after brewing. This can really help accentuate the Gingerbread flavour, and heighten the impact of the ginger.

A few years ago we offered a Gingerbread Rooibos Tea at Christmas time, and you have been asking for it ever since. So here is our new recipe Gingerbread Tea – we hope you love it!

Pyramid Tea Bag Promise

Question: Are your pyramid tea bags degradable? Answer: YES.

Question: Are your pyramid teabags compostable? Answer: YES.

Polylactic acid or PLA is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca roots, chips or starch, or sugarcane. This is degradable and is considered compostable. PLA doesn’t disappear overnight, it requires a good temperature to help it degrade. This is why we recommend that you put used pyramid tea bags into your local council compost and don’t just throw them in the garden.

If you really want to help the environment we suggest you use loose leaf teas.

We offer more variety of loose leaf teas and loose blends are always less expensive than our tea pyramids.
